国际BD日/世界BD日（International BD Day/World BD Day）诞生了！每年的2月4日

Business Development, BD in short, is becoming more and more important and popluar, especially in pharmaceutical and biotech industries. In order to call for more attentions to BD and BD professionals, DrugTimes would like to propose a totally new holiday, it is called

International BD Day

World BD Day

Global BD Day

Since B and D are the 2nd and 4th letters in alphabet respectively, we believe February 4 will be a perfect day for this brand new holiday, happily to point out that it is 10 days before the sweet Valentine’s Day.

We did searches on Google、Bing and Baidu on 2023-05-02, did not find exact matches, hence very likely we are the first one worldwide to make such a proposal, it is a kind of First-In-Class.

Business Development, 简称BD，中文翻译有多个，包括商务拓展、商务发展、业务拓展、业务发展、商业拓展、商业发展，正在变得越来越重要和流行，尤其是在制药界和生物技术界。

为了进一步加强业界对BD及其BD人士的关注，药时代特此倡议创办一个全新的节日，那就是【International BD Day】,或【World BD Day】或【Global BD Day】，中文名称为【国际BD日】、【世界BD日】、【全球BD日】。

由于B和D分别是字母表中的第2个和第4个字母，我们相信2月4日将是这个全新节日的完美日子，而且距离甜蜜的情人节只有10天。
